Baby Shower

This cake was for a small baby shower - it's a 15x18 sheet, half chocolate and half strawberry with buttercream icing and will feed 25+.

The new Mom wanted the design to look like the shower invitation.

October 2008 - Hannah Montana

This is a Hannah Montana cake. It's a half-sheet cake which will feed 30+ people. This cake is vanilla on one half and chocolate on the other half.

Here's my version of an electric guitar.

This was made for a friend's son's 12th birthday.

October 2008 - Monkey Cake

This cake was for a 1st birthday. The monkey cake was for the baby and the other cake was for the adults. They requested that the adult cake have monkeys and bananas to coordinate with the monkey cake.

August 2008 - Soccer Cake

This cake was made for a friend's son's birthday - he's a soccer player.

This cake is 3-D with a soccer ball on top of a sheet cake.

May 2008 - Wedding Shower Cake

This cake was my biggest challenge to date!

This was for a friend who was hosting a wedding shower. She wanted "pink and happy" and enough to feed 50 people. This is what I came up with.

This is two double layers covered in fondant and shimmer dust. The flowers, hearts and curlies are made from gumpaste and fondant.

April 2008 - Wrestling Cake

This cake was made for a friend's son's WWF sleepover party. This one took some time as I've never seen wrestling so I had to do some research.

I downloaded the WWF template and duplicated it with chocolate for the top. The corner posts are Pepperidge Farms cookies that I covered in chocolate. The stars on the sides are also chocolate pieces that I made.
